We really enjoyed the day, the information he gave about the Amalfi coast and the different stops we made. The service of your company was very good, the response time from yourself when we were arranging the tours and the drivers were courteous and always on time the 3 times we used your services. We had a wonderful time during the Amalfi Coast tour on May 26 2019. Giulio was quick to reply with all my inquiries. The van transfer was clean and very comfortable. The weather was not that good, but our tour guide/driver Andreas provided us an umbrela and....a very good humor. :-) He made our day more enjoyable despite of the rain. He did a good job explaing evrything along the way. Andreas, thank you so much for the excellent service and for sharing us, on how to make an Italian spaghetti sauce ;-) Ciao

Our family has known Giulio and used Guemar Travel for almost ten years now, and he is our only choice of transport in the Amalfi/Napoli/Pompeii area. He is punctual, honest, safe, and I am not exaggerating when I say I would send my kids over to Italy alone, without hesitation, and trust him to pick them up and keep them safe :) He is also native to the area and knows it like the back of his hand; he can arrange an amazing day or tour for you if you have time. I contacted the company after seeing their Trip advisor rating and reviews. I emailed from the US early evening on a Sunday and Giulio emailed me back within 10 minutes with quotes for a transfer from Naples airport to Positano and return on the Sunday. The quote was competitive and follow up was great with me confirming the booking within a couple of emails. They also provided information on additional tours that were available that friends of Maine also took advantage of. The drivers Raphael and Humberto were great, polite, professional, knowledgable and on time. They provided restaurant recommendations, and information as we transited. My friends also took the tour to Pompeii and they organized a guide Julia who was excellent, very knowledgable and friendly. The cost of one was transfer from Naples to Positano two people was 110 Euros the quote from the hotel was 200. Return for 4 to Naples was 170 Euros. Excellent service in every way would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Umberto for our tour of the Amalfi Coast. He added such a personal touch to each of the places we visited and was willing to spend less time in one place, so that we could go to another place for longer. We will always remember how he stopped for a special lemon treat for my husband. Memories that will last a lifetime and we will share your information with anyone we know that will come to Italy!

Very happy with Guemar Travel! Giulio was very responsive to my emails and was flexible when I had to change plans around a couple times. Our driver Paolo was wonderful and was always timely in picking us up. We had great conversation with him while driving from Naples to Positano and he was a careful driver as well. I highly recommend booking this company for car transfers!! They are great.

We used Guemartravel.com to transfer 5 adults and our luggage from the Naples Centrale train station to Positano. Giulio was quick to answer my questions, had the best price and his website is very easy to use. We were met at the station with a sign, the drivers going to Positano and returning to Naples were on time, friendly and made us feel completely comfortable. I would definitely recommend their services.

A late post but worthwhile writing about! Giulio was extremely timely with his responses and reasonable pricing as he organised transfers for us for our short trip in late February to Sorrento. We needed return transfers from Napoli and also ended up booking a stop to visit Pompei and Herculaneum along the way. The vehicle was clean and the service was fast, reliable and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use Guemar Travel again for any future trips to the Amalfi Coast!! Thank you so much for your courtesy and friendly assistance Giulio!!

We received outstanding service from Julia and Humberto. They treated us like family. They were prompt and professional. They recommended a local family winery that ended up being a wonderful experience. Julia’s private tour in Pompeii couldn’t have been better.

I highly recommend this company. They were prompt in reply to my email requests and were flexible when scheduling. Our driver was Marco, he spoke very good English and made us feel comfortable right away. He was very accommodating and shared details about the area and gave us some great insights. We spend 2 days with him and could not have asked for a better driver/guide. Best decision I made for our trip was using this company and Marco to explore this area.

When my ship docked in Naples all I wanted was to get back to Sorrento and spend the day there, however the length of time allowed by the ship's shore excursion was not long enough for me so I went searching on Trip Advisor and was told of your fantastic company. I was able to book ground transportation to/from the port of Naples/Sorrento at a reasonable price and with the time I wanted to spent in Sorrento. Marco, our driver, was exemplary! He was not only knowledgeable about the area but was able to give me information concerning Sorrento that was specific to my intention to spend a number of months there in the near future. He was courteous, professional, personable and made the trip to/from Sorrento very enjoyable. I will definitely use this service in the future for all my transportation needs to coming to Italy and recommend you to everyone I know traveling there. Thank you for a most enjoyable day!

Hi there, I am working on a trip for myself (56) my mother (80) and my 3 daughters, 18, 20, and 22. We are flying into and out of Rome and would like to make this a coast vacation. I have been looking into villas or apartments in Praiano as that was recommended as a base for exploring the rest of the Amalfi Coast. I am finding the choices a bit overwhelming. At this point, I would like to look into the help of a guide, but at the very least we are thinking a private driver to transport us from the airport to our hotel/house would be a good start. Any help or suggestion is most welcome. Our dates of travel are June 12-23 ( we actually arrive in Rome at 9:30 AM June 13. Thank you!

We are writing to say that the best decision we have made when planning our trip to the Amalfi Coast was to enlist the services of guermartravel. Our drive from Naples Airport with Maria to our hotel in Sorrento, a full day with Roberto to Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii with a special lunch in the vineyard, a full day drive down the Amalfi coast and our return drive from Atrani to the airport could not have been more relaxing, informative and truly special. It is truly the way to make the trip relaxing and hassle free. Seeing the beauty of the Amalfi coast through the personalized and informative guides made all the difference on this trip.

I approached three tour companies about arranging transportation from Naples. Guglio was the only one who provided prompt, clear responses to my email inquiries, and was very flexible in offering tour options at fair prices. This gave us peace of mind about our connection with them at the airport. Our driver was on time and had an adequate (but limited) grasp of English. If you need to get from Naples airport to Sorrento attactions or the Amalfi coast it is possible to take the local train, but you have to get to the main statzione first then transfer, you may not have a seat or room for luggage and you will still have to get to your attraction/hotel from the destination statzione. For a couple or family it is totally worth it to get a driver and car. I don't see how you can do better than Guemar.

Thank you for an incredible tour of the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed the company of our driver, Massimo, who is very friendly and a fantastic tour guide. We appreciated his ability to customize our tour, since we wanted to visit Villa Cimbrone in Ravello. He also arranged a private tour of Pompeii for us. And we had time to do some shopping in Sorrento. He even made a dinner reservation for us in Positano, where we were staying. He went above and beyond to meet our needs. I cannot say enough about our experience with Jose to the Amalfi Coast. He was such a pleasure to meet and spend the day with, truly passionate about his job, meeting people, and his country. My husband actually got a little car sick from the drive, and he was so concerned and wanted to make sure he was comfortable. He went out of his way to accommodate us and to be flexible with the plans until my husband felt better. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better guide, we highly recommend Guemar and specifically Jose! Grazie!!

Hi wanted to say a big thank you to Guemar Travel for enhancing our recent trip to Sorrento. I contacted Giulio in February, I was looking for trips to Pompeii & Amalfi coast. Guemar Travel had some really good reviews on tripadvisor. As always I'm sceptical about reviews, but from our experience the reviews proved to be right. Having contact Giulio, I was impressed by his swift response, his recommendation for extra visits along the way to Pompeii & Amalfi - The visit to the Vine yard, lunch on the terrace & the Emerald Grotto, both of which heightened our experience of the day. From February to July emails were backwards and forwards, nothing was too much trouble & every questioned answered fully. I especially felt reassured when I asked Giulio about payment, & he said no payment would be taken until the day of the trip, only visa card details needed for confirmation purposes. The day arrived & we were might by Jose at the airport for our journey to our Hotel. The vehicle was clean, comfortable & most of all air conditioned, & this continued for all of our trips. Jose too was professional & smartly dressed. We had planned the first trip to be Amalfi coast but because of local knowledge Jose recommended we do Pompeii first, which proved to be a good move & not something you would get booking through your travel agency. Along the way Jose was very informative & recommended a guide for Pompeii, this again was a good move. After our visit to Pompeii we went to the Vine yard, Where we had a tour, lunch & wine tasting. This was a lovely experience & well worth a visit. Thank you Jose! Our day at the Amalfi coast was stunning, beautiful, visiting Positano. Revello & Amalfi to name a few, stopping for lunch at a restaurant recommended by Jose. The restaurant was up in the hills, with stunning views looking down over the bay of Positano & of course we had the best table to appreciate it from. Thanks once again to Jose. From being sceptical about Guemar Travel I can positively say that the whole experience was brilliant & would not hesitate to recommend them.
