Ravello Hey Paola - I just wanted to thank you for a great service last week. We so much enjoyed our tour of Positano with Giulio. It was so nice to see him right at the train gate. He lead us to the best lunch spot of our trip…Loved it and the people there were so nice there. The shopping in Positano was great! I have attached a photo! The ride back to Naples was nice to stop by Pompeii we didn’t care for the tour through the busy streets of Sorrento, waste of time, surely there are better spots of Sorrento! or perhaps after seeing all the other great places in Amalfi we are spoiled!!! Our driver was very nice to walk us to the pizza spot we were looking for, too bad it was too crowded to stay. Thanks again, I will refer you to my friend who will be going in June for on her honeymoon! Theresa

Dear Paola and Giulio: Where do we begin....our vacation in your beautiful country was just unreal. Your great expertise in the travel industry made out trip so much easier. The day we spent with Giulio was wonderful, especially when Betty Anne joined in with Dean Martin....what a treat... Josè, what can we say...he was special...everything he suggested was so wonderful and his personality was to die for. Best of all the lunch at Vesuvius was the best especially when we found out that Esters's daughter lives 3 blocks from our home in Astoria, NY.... The highlight was when we got to meet your two beautiful daughters....how special was that. So today I am back at work, Rusty is home, and Betty Anne is on a plane to Aruba..... My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Italy travels in March 2014 in large part because we had such good service from Guemar Travel. From the response to our initial inquiry and email communication with Paola to the final good-bye at the train station we felt special and in good hands. Guilio picked us up in Naples at the train station, provided a nice tour of Naples, then stopped at Pompeii while we toured for a couple hours, and then on to Sorrento. One of the days while in Sorrento he picked us up and drove us around the beautiful the Amalfi coast. On our last day in Sorrento Guilio picked us up at the hotel and drove us back to Naples. He was a wonderful driver - prompt, courteous, and helpful. We highly recommend this service to everyone. Thank you Paola & Guilio! Sandra and Rex Wilson

Hello Paola I am so happy that I had a chance too meet you the other day at the end of our day tour of the Amalfi coast. We had a wonderful time and it was so relaxing. After all that we had heard about the road we did not know what to expect. Everything went smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Laro was great and kindly stopped when we wanted to take photos. Our lunch in Ravello At the Garden Restaurant was excellent - actually the best lamb we have on our vacation. Once again, many thanks. My husband and I visited Italy in September 2013 and the greatest find of all was discovering Guemar Travel. Our first experience was with Gennaro who drove us from Naples to Positano. I had been fearing the cliff hanging roads of this area but his driving put me right at ease. He was informative and a delight. What we appreciated the most was his concern for our well being. We were meeting friends in Positano at a villa they had rented. Gennaro knew that cars were not allowed near the villa and since our friends had not as yet arrived, he would not leave us until he personally contacted the staff at the villa to make sure that everything was in order for our arrival and then gave us very clear directions. Any other company would have just left us. We also used Guemar for an Amalfi coast tour with our friends. Giulio took us on a fabulous tour from Positano to Ravello. He was the best host yet; bright, friendly and a wonderful driver. He knows everyone and our stops along the way really hit the “wow” factor. He made lunch reservations for us and we had the best lunch with THE most spectacular view of the Amalfi Coast. He also suggested a restaurant for dinner in Positano and made reservations for us. Again he was spot on, the restaurant was operated by a local family and the food was delicious (did I mention once again we had the best table). Our last time with Giulio driving was in Sorrento. I had booked Guemar to take us to the Naples train station. But when we were checking out of the hotel they said they had made arrangements for our pickup (I had only asked about their services) and insisted they could not cancel without charging us. I didn’t want to but I had to call Giulio to cancel and he was most understanding. Can you imagine our wonder when who shows up to drive us but Giulio. It was like greeting an old family friend. We were so relieved to see him. The story then unfolded that when we told the hotel that the pickup time they had arranged would not give us enough time to make our train, their driver called Giulio to see if he could take the job. The lesson learned is don’t use a hotel for driver services, call Guemar Travel! Giulio also went above and beyond by actually taking us into the train station, helping with our luggage and showing us how to watch for our train’s arrival. I’ve already recommended Guemar to someone who responded to my review of Sorrento. They will always be my “go to” car service. I can’t end this review without thanking Paola for all of her help with our arrangements. It was a pleasure working with her. She was always prompt in her responses and was most helpful. Dear Paola, Sorrento I want to send you a quick email to thank you for helping us plan our family holiday in Roma and Amalfi coast. We returned to the US yesterday and were extremely happy with the services that you and your team had provided. All the drivers were extremely courteous and professional and we really enjoyed their company. For the Amalfi Coast tour, David was fantastic! We would have been clueless about where to go. Paola, Just a short note to once again thank you for all your help and support to our group of eight. Your drivers were on time each of the three days and your vehicles were clean and well maintained. The eight of us agree the highlight of our two week tour of Europe was the Amalifi Coast. David, the driver, made that day even more special. His suggestion for lunch was the memorable meal we had. We will never forget that day. Dear Paola We were so happy with your service and I will write a very good report. David was wonderful and very, very helpful to us on that last day especially. Please tell him our thanks and let him know we made it to our hotel on Ischia, but not without some difficulty. The whole town of Forio was closed down right to the outskirts for the Giro d'Italia and the shuttle driver had to walk in to get us at the port. We then had to walk quite a distance to the car and take back roads that weren't more than 8 feet wide!! It was an amazing experience, though. We were so happy with your service. David was always on time or early and he showed us around and gave us good tips on our travel. He was a great help at the Napoli Port. Thank you also for the lovely gift of ceramic roses...so beautiful and a lovely remembrance of our time in Sorrento and on the Amalfi Coast. Paola, My husband and I traveled to Italy with our friend Sunny Lapadat and used the services of your company the week of September 2, 2012. We are back, unpacked and are (unfortunately) back to our other life. This e-mail is to let you know that we very much enjoyed our trip to your country and it was made much more pleasant using the services of your company, in particular, our assigned driver, David. He was always on time, friendly and knowledgable. We also have to give him extra credit for being his usual pleasant self when he had to pick us up at the hotel at 3:00 a.m. for our flight home.
